The previous dose did not give you any side effects.

Weight loss has stopped and more weight loss is required.

Do not increase more than max dose indicated above without your doctor's approval.

 

50 units on the pen is a typical cost-effective maintenance dose as this will give you 4 weeks of treatment (approx. 1 month). However, those who have more weight to lose and find their weight loss has been stagnant for 2 weeks may need to increase to the max dose before returning to the maintenance dose.

 

While 50 units is a typical maintenance dose, it is not uncommon for certain people to require a lower or higher maintenance dose.

 

If you are changing from Semaglutide or Tirzepatide or vice versa then start with half your previous dose in order to assess your sensitivity to the new product. If there is not any negative reaction, increase your dose to the previous dose when you inject again.
